This is one of those projects that came out of nowhere during my C3 years; the owner of the agency had met the Minnesota Vikings owners at a time when they were interested in developing a branded mascot character, which was right in our wheelhouse. The project took most of a year and involved character ideation and sketches, turnaround art, development of a costume and accessories, and finally, the style guide you see here (which was just a small part of the overall project, but ended up winning a silver ADDY). Pretty cool project, and I believe Viktor is still around, doing this thing on the field.
